The Paigah Tombs in Hyderabad are the tombs of the several generations of the Paigah nobles. The Paigahas had married daughters of the Nizams and so they enjoyed a significant social status. They were given the responsibility of overlooking the security and defense of the state.

The Paigah Tombs are unique specimens of magnificent artistry that is visible in the wonderfully inlaid mosaic work. The lime stucco comes with intricate geometrical patterns and includes an intriguing "pineapple" motif. Another noticeable feature is that many of these tombs are open to the sky.
